About Us

Hidden on a quiet street in Staunton, students have experienced Christ-centered education and academic excellence in a diverse, safe, and loving environment since 1959.

A bit of history:

The land and school were developed as the result of a donation by a gentleman named Charles Richards. Mr. Richards was a member of the Staunton Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was committed to creating a school where students would receive a quality education and develop a relationship with Jesus.

C.F. Richards is the second oldest Christian school in Staunton. After beginning in the basement of the Staunton Seventh-day Adventist Church in 1956, the school moved to its current location, off Barterbrook Road, on Sterling Street in 1959.
